Mr. Burton moves Computer Data Source, Inc. UK operations to Basingstoke.

Wasting no time newly appointed Director of European Sales Iain Burton moved the CDS UK administrative offices to a new location in Basingstoke, England.

Iain Burton is named Director of European Sales for Computer Data Source, Inc.

Mr. Burton was born in Northern Ireland and graduated from St Albans College, Hertfordshire. He has previously worked for a global service organization delivering support services for many of the major OEMs. Most recently Mr. Burton was an Account Director for one of the UK’s largest outsource partners. Upon joining CDS Mr. Burton stated, “I am truly excited to join the CDS organization, and be part of further expanding business for CDS in the UK” Mr. Burton is married with two sons and lives in Hampshire, United Kingdom.

Formal Launch of Storage Resource Analysis announced by Computer Data Source, Inc.

Professional Services group announces formal launch of Storage Resource Analysis (SRA), an innovative Software-as-a-Service (SaaS). Storage Resource Analysis produces reports specific to operational and management: Storage Administrators, Host Administrators, Infrastructure & Operational Reporting, and C level reporting.  A Petabyte of configuration, relationship, and allocation data can be collected and analyzed within the same working day. Storage Resource Analysis has no access to user data and is run via a simple script initiated by the IT department.SRA produces an immediate return on your investment by reclaiming mis-configured or stranded storage resources, thus postponing or negating additional storage purchases.

Licensing Agreement with Computer Data Source (CDS)

Xploite plc (“Xploite”, “the Group”, AIM: XPT), the operator and aggregator of strategic and high growth IT services businesses, announces that Itheon, the Group’s business solutions software subsidiary, has signed an agreement to license its Storage Resource Analysis (SRA) software to Computer Data Source Inc (CDS), a US-based provider of IT services with a focus on Hardware Support Service Solutions.  The agreement includes a one off payment in the current financial year for hosting the software and then the payment of subsequent royalties.

CDS provides Hardware Support Services for its customers across the USA, Canada, Europe and Asia supported product lines include EMC, IBM, HP, Sun, Compaq, StorageTek and NetApp product among many others.  Under the terms of this new license agreement CDS will use Itheon’s SRA software to provide storage assessments and ongoing storage analytics to its many clients.
